After the wonderful success of last year's event, we're delighted to announce that the Christmas Tree Festival is returning to St Edmund's Church from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December 2026, timed to coincide with the Town Carols.

Last year the church was transformed into a sparkling forest of Christmas trees, each one lovingly decorated by a local community group, and we can't wait to do it all again. The festival is a joyful way to celebrate the season together, bringing light, colour and a real sense of community into the heart of Shipston just as the town gets ready for Christmas.

It may feel a little early to be thinking about tinsel and baubles, but now is the time to put your festive thinking caps on! If you are part of a community group, club, school, society or local organisation and would like to decorate a tree, we would love to hear from you. It's a great opportunity to showcase what your group does, reach new people and add your own creative touch to the festival. Trees can be as traditional, quirky or imaginative as you like, and there will be prizes awarded for the best trees.

To get your group involved, please email office@shipstonchurch.org before Friday 13th November.
