We're delighted to share news of Lego Church, a new way for children to explore the stories of the Bible through one of their favourite things: building with Lego.
Lego Church takes place on the first Sunday of every month during our morning service. While the grown-ups gather for worship, school-age children are invited to come together, hear a Bible story and then bring it to life with bricks. One month it might be Jesus teaching from a fishing boat on the Sea of Galilee, another month it could be Noah's ark or the feeding of the five thousand. Whatever the story, the children get to imagine it, build it and talk about what it means.

There is something special about the way children learn when their hands are busy. As they sort bricks, work out how to make a boat float on a blue baseplate or decide who should stand where, they are thinking about the story in a real and lasting way. Questions come naturally, conversations flow, and the finished models often say more than words ever could. It's a chance for young people to discover that faith isn't just something we listen to, it's something we can explore, wonder about and share.
Lego Church is open to all children of school age, whether they come to church every week or have never been before. No building experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to have a go. We do ask that every child brings an adult along with them. Parents, grandparents and carers are very welcome to join in with the building too, and many find it a lovely way to spend time together and talk about the story afterwards.
If you know a family who might enjoy Lego Church, please do pass the word on. It's a gentle and fun way for children to feel at home in our church community, and we'd love to see new faces around the table.

We look forward to seeing you, and your builders, on the first Sunday of the month!
