In Wednesday’s quiet Christmas service, we acknowledged that Christmas is not always easy. We named our losses – loss of family members, life partners, estrangement from family, loss of employment, losses of all kinds.

The tree in the Lady Chapel in St Edmund’s, kept by the light of Christ for Christmas, has stars with our losses on them. If you would like to add a name or other loss, hope or prayer to it, please do pop in. Stars and pencils are there waiting for you.

Keeping it going

Everything we do here is funded by people who choose to give. If this church matters to you, even from the pavement, a small regular gift keeps it standing.
