We're delighted to announce that the new St Edmund's Church website is now live at shipstonchurch.org.
The new site has been designed to make it easier than ever for everyone to find out about life at St Edmund's, whether you're a regular member of our congregation, a local resident, a family planning a baptism or wedding, or a visitor passing through Shipston. With a fresh, welcoming design and clearer information throughout, we hope it offers a warm first impression of our church and community.
What's new
Finding the essentials is now much simpler. Our regular service times are shown on every page, so you can quickly check when we meet for the Sunday Parish Eucharist, the Wednesday Midweek Eucharist or Cafe Sunday. There are dedicated pages for worship, baptisms and weddings, with the information you need to get started, and our contact page makes it easy to get in touch with the parish office about baptisms, weddings, funerals or hall bookings.
Our News and Events section is now the place to keep up with everything happening at St Edmund's, from Lego Church and our churchyard wildlife events to special services and the Christmas Tree Festival. Stories can be easily shared by email or on Facebook, so do pass them on to friends and neighbours.
You can also now join our mailing list to receive occasional news, service updates and event information straight to your inbox, and a new Donate page explains the different ways you can support the life and ministry of the church. Our safeguarding policy is clearly available too, reflecting our commitment to the care and protection of everyone in our church community.
